China Railway 15 Bureau Group Corporation (CR15G), the fifth division of the former Railway Corps of People’s Liberation Army, had made great immortal deeds. In January 1984, CR15G was transferred to the Ministry of Railways as the 15th Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways. From April 2001, it was under the administration of the Chinese State-owned Assets Supervision Committee with the new legal name of China Railway 15 Bureau Group Corporation.

At present, CR15G has almost 20,000 employees, of which 4,000 are technical professionals specializing in different fields, and more than 3,000 mechanical equipments. It consists of 14 holding companies and direct project headquarters. Its annual construction capacity is more than RMB Yuan 10 billion. The total assets are over RMB Yuan 5.3 billion, net assets are RMBYuan1.5 billion, and registered capital is RMB Yuan 1.2 billion. In 1996, it owned the 22nd place on the list of the 500 largest national construction companies and was the first one awarded the ISO9002 Quality System Certification and Britain Royal UKAS Certification among those construction companies that are under administration of the Ministry of Railways. In 2003, the Corporation has been found to conform to the “Quality management, Occupational safety & health management and Environmental Management System”. In March 2000, the company was granted the license to conduct foreign economic cooperation by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. In 2004, the Company is awarded Qualification of Foreign Assistance Construction according to the approval document [No. 2004 200] issued by the Ministry of Commerce. In the development and pursuance of major projects, the Corporation had some strong supports from Our Clients and high appraisements, such as honoured as ‘Advanced unit in promoting national spiritual civilization’ and ‘National advance enterprise of quality and economic effectiveness’, National “May Day” Labor Medal, ‘Model Worker’s Family’, has obtained 15 times national prizes, 42 times provincial & ministerial prizes for its top quality construction and 81 important scientific & technical achievements, 5 Luban Prizes, 11 ministerial prizes for construction methods, 1 National award for construction method, 2 National prizes for science & technology progress and 15 provincial & ministerial awards for important scientific achievements etc.

During the past two decades, it had undertaken more than 30 major national railway lines. Besides, it had undertaken more than 200 high-graded highways and expressway projects and has a large presence in municipal public engineering, hydroelectric construction, and airport and port construction. Some BOT and BOO projects steadily run by the Corporation are our latest effort to name. The capital investment amount is over RMB Yuan7 billion, Such as the Nanjing Municipal Ring Road (BT) with total contract price 2billion yuan RMB, Nanjing Municipal Crossing-Yangtze River Tunnel (BOT) with total contract price 3.2billion yuan RMB, Sichuan Provincial Xuna Railway Project (BOO); and general contracting the Punan Expressway with contract price of RMB Yuan2.2 billion.

In addition, we actively performed in the municipal construction, Urban Interchange, skyscraper mansions, Telecommunications, Hydroelectric and electricity works, subway and light rail, Nation Defense Tunnel etc and therein retained certain achievements. During the past few years, the Corporation has obtained 6 new National Records, and paid tax over RMB Yuan0.3 billion.
